About Me

- 28, nurse and midwife, from Hong Kong
- just quit my job, currently in gap year for something new!
- now in the UK on working holiday. Well...still just holiday since I'm taking a short course in Liverpool. Will probably go back to London in Jan!

- a girl full of dreams - the ultimate one is to travel all around the world !
- a backpacker, adventurer and dream chaser
- learning Spanish( but still in Beginner level), just back from Cuba after my 3.5month stay there. I'm in love with Cuba!
- I would describe myself as a passionate and active person, maybe? no, it depends... depends on how I feel with the person or group... sometimes I can be introvert and quite. If I feel comfortable I could be very talkative and participate a lot! I love cheerful people (who don't?!) but my friends always say I'm a good listener. Life is not easy right? So, I'm glad to share all the things I have experienced, but at the same time I'm also happy if I can be your listener...
- but I'm definitely a very easy going person :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to live with the locals. They know their country way more than Lonely Planet, so why not!!

Thanks to my previous hosts in Russia and Finland, I'm in love with couchsurfing. They're just amazing! We spent a lot of time together on talking about culture, sharing recipes, going to country park and picnic and more!

Interests

I'm not a sporty type to be honest, but I love mountains - hiking and trekking - they're my favorite sports! I enjoy finding somewhere high to go up to during travel because it's a alternative way to explore a beautiful place. No matter where it is, no matter it's a little hill or mountain, I love it. One of my greatest trekking experience is in Nepal - awesome :)

As many people do, I love to eat and cook. Asian food is my all time favorite and I'm happy to try all types of food (but sorry I hate onions and cucumber and I don't eat beef) ! And also sewing and some handicrafts!

Music, Movies, and Books

Harry Potter!!!! I also read a lot of Chinese literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To do volunteer work in a poor village in Nepal. It's my first time to be amazed by such innocent and pure and true smiles from children. And enjoyed such a good Himalaya view everyday!

Teach, Learn, Share

Sorry I'm not a professional in anything :P
But I like cooking, not a professional chef but home cooking. I would love to share things like recipes, how to cook Chinese food/Hong Kong food, tell you more about more hometown Hong Kong, teach you Cantonese and Mandarin.

You'll never know what you learn from others until you talk to them and live with them.
