About Me

ABOUT ME

I began traveling overseas when I went to France with my family at age 11. My favorite part of this trip was taking the metro in Paris. Since then, I have been on metros around the world: Madrid, Athens, Delhi, London, and Chicago to name a few. I love to travel and save my money for this purpose.

PHILOSOPHY

I always look for the bright side of things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I visited Portland, OR for my spring break and stayed with an entire house of people who met through couch surfing. It was a great experience! I am excited to meet more people from around the world through my travels and hope to host once I have a place of my own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a pretty new member and am hoping to meet some interesting people through couch surfing. I especially love meeting locals at the different places I visit.

Interests

Besides traveling, I love to read, go to the theater, run, meet new people, and cook/bake!

  • theater

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not good at choosing favorites. The most recent books I have read and liked are Making Globalization Work by Joseph Stiglitz, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Gandhi and Churchill by Arthur Herman, and Natural Capitalism by Paul Hawkin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to the Ryder Cup in Louisville, KY in 2009!

Teach, Learn, Share

What I love about meeting people from different parts of the world is that instead of thinking of a country in general, I think of my friends that I met there.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Greece, India, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
