About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find intersections between social values and art interests. Share practices and learn from others.

ABOUT ME

I wisely prefer to talk about it around a tea or a glass of wine !
I know how to desmantle a drain and how to cook a ginger cake as my grandma used to do it, I'm full of surprises!

PHILOSOPHY

I like to travel across cities and countryside, to see how people manage their lives and their passions, how they resist...
I want to spend this year to learn practices like baking, repairing bikes, sewing and I'd like to pass more time on helping friends in their farms and cultural projects.
I also plan to give french classes in a social association because I begin to learn how to do it properly last summer.
My dream would be to have a café with a library and a stage and where people could have the place to experiments things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I begin to use CS with my house-mate when we travelled to Marseille.
Then we went to Berlin and find 2 amazing couchsurfers so I really enjoyed my CS experience and decided to host at my place in Lyon.
I felt great with hosting people and take them to bast spotsand nicest alternative places in Lyon .
Arrived in Quebec, I discovered the city with the help of Daniel, a big star of couchsurfing there !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For example, I've been hosted by too different persons in Marseille and it was really nice to spend time with the first and visit a lot of places, and also really cool to be independent with the second boy who let us travel and trust us really easily...
I think it defines what I'm searching for when I travel and what I can offer to my guest : time but also independence.

Interests

I read a lot for my studies and my own and also have writing periods (thanks Rilke?)
My main interest for these months was readind about gender and cultural studies.
I like to meet new people and take the time to create with them, my house-mates were extraordinary, coming from Erasmus program so it was really great to learn more about their habits and culture. We were also in "folf education" association so we've set workshops in our neighborhood.
I was part of different drama projects, and would like to find a music teacher again cause my celtic harp gets dusty !
I'd like to continue to learn some karate basis. But for the moment, I'm learning Qi Qong and try to meditate everyday.
In Quebec I was involved in a free traditionnal choral, singing estern Europe songs.
