Hi the couch-community !
My name is Margaux, I'm french, 25 years old, and I am currently living in Savoie (French beautiful region close to the Alpes).
I am currently not working since I quitted my job in Paris, and I am looking for my next professional adventure abroad !

Thanks to my international relations studies I have been working on various issues (anti-deforestation, humanitarian, diplomacy, gender, anti-corruption etc :) ) and living abroad in beautiful places (Indonesia, Myanmar, France, Czech Republic, Argentina).

I love my job thematics as much as I love theater (acting, writing and watching), traveling, doing sports (i run a lot, dance, english boxing, hiking, gym), debating about our society and also having fun, joking, partying !

If I contact you it means I am planning a trip in your area and I am thrilled -not only to find hosts - but also to meet people in their city, share a drink, a walk, a party :) So in case I ask you for a piece of couch and you are not available to host, don't hesitate to meet me in your town anyway !

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Unfortunately at the moment I cannot host in France because I am living in a small appartment with my parents. I am looking forward for my next professional destination to be able to host people from all over the world and give back to the CS community !

I think CS is about sharing and discovering a place through the eyes and lifestyle of the people living there !
CS adds an extra value to my trips and I cannot imagine a better experience when travelling !

Why do I have no evaluation yet on my profile ? During all my travels and stays abroad, I have hosted and been hosted by great people but I never used the couchsurfing platform. It was always through social networks, or a friend of a friend, etc. But I can promise you that I will respect the rules with which you imagine your CS experience: if you want to share drinks, meals, time, party, discoveries, debates, I will be 100% happy. But if you are in a busy week and not available except to host, I will also be 100% respectful of that !

Why not try to cook something french for you ? Something easy pleeeease because French cooking can be very very very meticulous !

Intereses

Love to act, write (poesy, music and I recently started a thriller novel that might turn into a book)
Love to travel and hike moutains !
Also passionate about what's going on in the world - not only politically speaking but also artisticly (DAMN people around the world are so creative and interesting ! Inspiration is everywhere ! )
Love sports (i run a lot, dance, english boxing, hiking, gym) and all the sports that I don't know about or never practised I am always motivated to discover !

Some anecdots here and there that only happened thanks to TRAVEL TRAVEL TRAVEL:

-I got healed from stomach pain by a chief of a peruvian village on my way to Machu Piccu with medicinal herbs and songs.
-I won a rap-contest with Superbass by Nicki Minaj in Myanmar
-I was offered a kite by children to compete in a kite competition in Jakarta
