Hello,

We are two French, Jean-Baptiste 26 years old and Margaux 24 years old. We graduated from a master's degree and we decided to travel to discover other cultures and learn English.

We decided last February to go backpacking around the world. We started our world tour in New Zealand, we bought a van that we arranged to travel freely in both islands. In New Zealand we have been woofing on farms to share moments with kiwis and discover their culture. We met incredible people with whom we speak regularly.

We also visit australia for 3 months as an au pair with three children. We loved this experience. We were in Perth and then we did a roadtrip on the goldcoast between Cairns and Brisbane, we flew over the Great Barrier Reef and we saw the whitesundays that were gorgeous.

We are passionate about traveling, we travel to Bali and we have planned to visit Japan, Cambodia, Laos, Cuba, USA, Thailand and Sri Lanka before returning to France.

In each country we like to be close to the inhabitants and we prefer to travel in couchsurfing or woofing to discover cultures.

We love animals too, in France we have a cat called "mimine" and we love all animals in general.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because we love to travel and share with the inhabitants of all these countries. We decided to be au pair in Australia to live in the sense of a family and to share moments with them and to woof in New-Zealand to know the inhabitants and to be able to exchange with them.

We think these two experiences have really enriched us and we want to do couchsurfing in other countries. The goal is not to be hosted for free but to share culture and moments like restaurants and activities with people who love their city.

We are two very curious people and we love to learn every day during our travels.

Interests

Jean-Baptiste has been playing football for 20 years and Margaux has been practicing ballet for 15 years. We love to play sports but also cooking, we love to discover all the culinary specialties in the country and cook French food for other people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is difficult for us to choose one amazing thing but I would say that the Great Barrier Reef was the most incredible thing that we saw

We love to learn English every day to progress, we love to share food and discover culture. We can learn to cook French and some words in French.
