About Me

Current mission: travelling the world piece by piece.
I do this by hiking, wwoofing, bicycling and of course Couchsurfing!

I am an adventurous person if you did not get that already by the previous sentence :p
I have tried doing many things. From profession I am a DJ and a chef de cuisine. I studied psychology as well. Now I just want to spend as much time as I can in nature and meet people from all over the world.

My motto is 'follow your personal legend'. It's from the book 'The Alchemist' from Paulo Coelho and it suits me perfectly. For me it's following your instinct, your intuition, your gut feeling. Does not matter if your choices maybe don't make sense to others, they have to make sense to you. Do what makes you happy, go to places that make you feel alive!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting other people is also a travel. You travel in the other person and learn about their culture, their food, their view on the world. I love to meet new people and learn from them!
It's a priceless exchange and a good time :-)

Interests

Food, nature, people, hiking

I recently started viewing 'popular movies of 20.. (any given year)'.

I am having quite some fun with this, discovering new things everybody has been talking about for a looong time :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Kafka on the shore (marukami), the alchemist (paulo coelho)

Movie: what the bleep do we know?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had STD's once while diving. A Shark, Turtle & a Dolphin ^^

Otherwise. I deejayed once for 80.000 people in Brussels. That was pretty cool. But some time later I also had a small gig for 100 people in the south of Germany, randomly, on a little festival on a farm, and that was maybe even better. It's all about the energy and connection of the moment. That moment you are completely into it and you have the connection with the audience, it's a feeling of pure love.
