Overview
About Me
I am a long-time traveler! I have spent many years hitchhiking around Europe and North America, and funded most of these travels as a street performer playing accordion. Hitchhiking even took me across the Atlantic ocean on sail boats twice in my life. Like many of you, I love living in immersion in new places and languages.
Currently I am more settled, I have been working as an art and language teacher while I earn a linguistics degree.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best way to learn how to thrive is to connect with locals! I love to learn the history of a place, I love the insider scoop. I want to be shown the best parks and the coziest cafe.
While I enjoy drinking a cold beer with a host, I am really not a party person and don't want to go out for the night life! I'm on couch surfing a bit more as a nerd, to learn about what makes the city unique and to share stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I work as a gondolier! (It's a traditional Venetian 38' wooden boat with a single heavy oar, I drive it up and down the river where I live and sing love songs to my passengers.)
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I love language and art education, happy to offer tips for your journey with either
I can teach you a song on (probably) whatever instrument is at your house!
Juggling takes time to learn but I can show you how to get started or teach you a new trick
Learn:
Teach me about your city, about your research interests, about how people explore nature (mountains/rivers/long distance hiking trails) in your country, local cuisine, funny expressions in your language that will make people laugh
What I Can Share with Hosts
a chill time and fun conversation! I am easy-going and helpful. I am generally curious about life and learning new things. I'd be happy to take a host out for a coffee and some people-watching.
