About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Starting my business! While working toward a serious goal, I try to leave good energy everywhere I go. Where I go often? Well, the cinema about twice a week, concerts every so often, get high on coffee and people.

ABOUT ME

How in the world do you write something like this? I think if I give a description of the things that are in my house, you'll get a pretty good picture of me. And I do not see myself as materialistic...:P

- tomato plant - functional flowers/greens; tiny herb garden! - chess set - picture books - my homegrown lettuce experiment - red cinema chair - djembe drum - large blue castle couch - a box of clementines for my severe clementine addiction - humus and cucumbers - ice cream - sketch books - computer - cowboy boots - many DVD's ( among there my favorites 2001 Space Oddysee, Requiem for a Dream and Despicable Me) - CD's (from Ludovico Einaudi to A Tribe Called Quest) - my dearest book collection, varying from (nearly) all the works of Harry Mulisch to the Bagavatam to Papillon to cook books - collection of aluminum lamps around the house - paintbrushes - every color of paint imaginable - coffee maker - pumpkins for my weekly pumpkin feast - sewing machine - clay - many varieties of tea - 2 sweet tiny palm trees - my sketches on the walls ~The End, sort of. ~

PHILOSOPHY

If every any soldier ordered to kill another woman or man, had to mandatorily spend an hour talking to their supposed victim, no one would actually pull the trigger. Everybody in their own mindset is 'right'. We all have a chance to explain, if we want to hear all the other stories.

Let's make the world more aware, smarter, knowledgable and let's make sure no one could morally live with themselves doing a job or have a believe system triggering actions, that hurts others in the mean time. Ultimately, these options should be non existent, THAT is evolution in our own hands. Err.. Brains. *YAY!*

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In my view, it is our obligation to all constructively work to a more aware, interesting and generally better world for everyone living in it. I participate with my own business in creating jobs for people with usually little chance to make it. Traveling is a big part of developing, so now that I am putting my roots down to work on my company for now, I love hosting people to still get some travel spirit in my home since traveling inspires me like nothing else. You are more than welcome to inspire me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed twice in London, hosted 6 in Haarlem, and met some nice people for drinks downtown. Neat!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first ever view of the Ganges in Varanasi, my number one most incredible and touching moment. Walking around in that city for sure shook me up properly and made me wanna branch out my company there in a couple years.

Further more; a canopy walk in the north of Ghana practically made me shit my pants and was crazy beautiful and scary for someone scared of hights. The forest there made my heart race, my ears drum, my intestines sink, my camera error, my neurons overload.
