Hey there, I'm Marina, I'm 23 and I'm now done with my master degree in tourism management. Last winter, I was working as a receptionnist in a tourist office in the nicest of French ski resorts : La Rosière. Oh, one more thing: I'm French with Italian origins and I used to spend most of my summer holidays in South Italy. I know Italy pretty well and love this country :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I aim at travelling a bit in the next few months (or even years maybe...?). I thought it would be very interesting for me to meet people while travelling, 'cos what interests me most in visiting a place is to discover more about its culture, and people living in those places are of course part of the culture. For the moment I can't host people myself as my studio is too small, but I'd also like to do it in the future. Hope to meet you soon! xx

Interests

I'm not passionate about anything but interested in an awful lot of stuffs! Mostly artistic disciplines such as music, photography etc. I'm not very keen on sport to be honest but currently working on it :)
I also love talking about the world, and I'm more and more interested in topics/causes such as feminism, ecology, organic agriculture, etc. Also, I've become a vegetarian a few months ago (I can still eat meat sometimes because it's not something easily achievable overnight, but less and less and I'm very proud of it).

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to rock oldies (60s, 70s, 80s) and britpop but I'm open to lots of music genres. My music culture is quite general.
I'm very bad at remembering films and my cinema culture is unfortunately very rubbish.... Concerning my readings, I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter... otherwise I must admit that I haven't opened a lot of books in the last few years and I regret it. I'm trying to read a bit more now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a whole year in England. Seems pretty easy but it actually is a very significant experience in one's life. Hope to live other experiences of that kind!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very interested in languages so I'd be so happy to speak French with non-French speakers who'd like to improve this language. In exchange, I'd be glad to practice any other language with you, even a language I've never spoken before if I'm lucky enough to have this opportunity.
