About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to graduate this year and meet good people along the way

ABOUT ME

I am a Greek American who grew up in Pennsylvania and has family in Karpathos Greece. I love to travel and do so any time I get the opportunity. I'm interested in learning languages and being introduced to new cultures, traditions and ways of perceiving and living life. I am especially interested in creative eco-friendly life styles like building cob houses. I just wish someone near me were making a cob house so I could go help! One day I'd like to make one of my own.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life as it comes and I do a lot of daydreaming along the way. When I get lucky, I find a way to bring my dreams to reality.

Philosophy: Everything is as it should be so that we can work to make it better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't participated is CS much so far but I would like to. I'd like to meet new people and make connections around the world. I'd especially like the opportunity to practice my Spanish with native speakers. Eventually (when I have my own place) I'd like to be able to host couch surfers and show them everything I love about this area because I know what a difference that makes to travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never done any couch surfing related to this website but I have traveled to Peru, Spain, Greece, Amsterdam, Prague, Stockholm, Florence and NYC and stayed with friends, friends of the family or host families and I've had some great experiences. I owe part of my decision to become a language teacher to having traveled to Peru as an exchange student in 10th grade.
