Hi

My name is Maria and I am a clinical pharmacist who loves to travel! My friends describe me as easy-going, energetic and active gal who doesn’t know a stranger. I love attending events, hiking, dancing, lounges, shows, meeting new people and generally getting the most out of life - whether that's trying new restaurants/cuisines (huge foodie), listening to live music, or visiting wineries. I also know my own way around the kitchen 😊.

I have been fortunate enough to visit 11 countries and 4 continents (and counting!) and I can’t wait to visit yours! My travels include immersing myself in the culture. While I love hitting most tourist spots, going to where the locals go is my top priority. I love going off the beaten path!

This will be my first experience on couch surfing and I look forward to making awesome memories!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been solo traveling awhile and one of the questions that I always get is “have you tried couch surfing yet”. I am ready to make the plunge! As I am always looking for an opportunity to immerse myself in the culture, I feel this is the best way to truly get the most out of a travel experience.

I can't choose just one! Stood on the Equator in Ecuador, zip lined through Costa Rica's rain forest, and traveled the road to Hana (a must see!)
