Hi my name is Maria Estrada and I am currently a junior in college. I am studying abroad in Spain right now with my twin sister. We are both Hispanic Studies major and mathematics minors. I live in a ranch in California with my mom and dad and older brother. I am very involved with my campus things I have done in the past include PioLog Illustrator Editor, MOSAIC Publicity Manager, L.E.A.P Mentor, and Spring into Action Leader.

I am a cheap college student that is trying to get through life, but also enjoy it. I love meeting new people from all over the world. I believe it's a great way of gaining perspective into other people's cultures.

I love almost any type of music except for country. My favorite type of movies are action, comedy, and horror. My favorite movie is She's The Man. I don't read much, but from the books that I have read, my favorite is A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Spark.

I was a L.E.A.P Mentor for my campus which is a support system for incoming freshmen. I was assigned 4 freshmen and I shared with them my freshman experience. I wanted to be there for them so they would not get homesick. I learned from this experience because I my communication and listening skills improved.
