Hello, my name is Maria Mercedez Gallegos, and I am from Raton, NM. I've lived in NM and Colorado most of my life. I've only been to four states in my life and have not traveled much. I currently live in Durant, Ok. I recently put in my 5 week notice at Choctaw Casino & Resort. I currently attend Grayson County College in Denison TX. I am getting my prerequisites finished so I can hopefully get into a nursing program.

I am Couchsurfing because I've always dreamt about being a traveler. I want to live the life of a traveler. I think traveling will help me learn more about my self, open my mind, and help me understand others. I want to grow and learn from others. I want to live the struggle and I know this experience may be a difficult, but I want to take that chance. I will be traveling with my coworker I met at Choctaw and his name is Josh.

My soul is nourished by nature. I'm interested in learning more about recycling, animals, organic farming, spirituality, holistic foods, and others culture. I want everything to be my interest.
