I am Maria and I live in Athens,Greece.I am 30 years old and I am a graduate from the Law School University of Athens.One of my biggest joys in life is spending time with my friends,laughing,eating,watching movies,going out or simply hanging out with them
!Maybe they would be the best to describe me but I can try...Or let my interests do that for me.I really love getting lost in the pages of a book and let my imagination run wild.One of my earliest memories is a smell,the incomparable one of a freshly printed fairytale book or the one of an old bedtime story one that I still own and go back to even though it has all but fallen apart(I like to call signs of wear in books little 'love signs').I think I'm drawn to any kind of storytelling and expression of creativity because I also love watching movies and theatre plays as often as I can.Sometimes I am bold enough to try and express myself in creative ways,through painting and writing mostly.I also love cooking for my friends and experimenting with recipes from international cuisines.My strongest and most memorable experiences have come from travelling though!Whether it be a mountain or the sea,a city or a village, I am always longing for new adventures,meeting new people and places,exploring every little corner of the world.My biggest dream is to travel all around the world and be drown in its beauty!Being a couchsurfing member is a good place to start I think!

I really love classic and alternative rock but I can pretty much listen to any type of music.Some of my favourite artists and bands are Arctic Monkeys,Alt-j,Florence and the Machine,Muse,Pink Floyd,IAMX,Cigarettes after Sex,Tool,1000mods,Agnes Obel and many others,it's hard to put them all here.It's even harder when it comes to book actually.One of my favourite authors is Oscar Wilde.I am also very into horror and detective stories so naturally my selves are full of books of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle,Agatha Christie,Wilkie Collins,Edgar Allan Poe,Stephen King,Ann Radcliffe ,Jo Nesbo and Stieg Larsson.I am a huge-and I can't stretch that enough-fan of Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter ever since I can remember myself.The book that has captured my heart and refuses to let it go for the past year and a half is "Call me by your name" as is the movie that right now holds the title of the best or at least the most beloved movie of mine.Naturally the Lord of the Rings movies are also on top for me,and the Harry Potter ones(mostly because I grew up with them though)."Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind,'Revolutionary Road",'Lady Bird",'Trainspotting' ,'Midnight in Paris" are some favourite movies that also come to mind.I also enjoy watching TV shows and my current obsession is "Good Omens".
