Hello, my name's Maria. I'm from the westernmost part of Russia on the very shore of the Baltic Sea. But now I'm living in Warsaw, where I'm studying IT, following my childhood "plan". Perhaps someday the game'll be released, which I helped to create. Because of my low growth and huge love to the works of John Tolkien, my friends nicknamed me the Hobbit.
I also like to travel. Due to the location of my region (and the place where i'm living now) it's very easy to get to many European capitals even by car. Now me and my friend are starting our big hitchhiking dream. Who knows what’s going to be next?)
Now I am leaving in a student dorm in the center of Warsaw. "The most prestigious dorm", as we are joking. I love this place with all of my heart, I found my life here. I could never imagine I'll be a person everybody knows.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently realized that facing new cultures, learning languages, and letting strangers into my life is a real pleasure. Since I was a kid I've been dreaming about huge hitchhiking trip. Now I have a chance to travle, I have the best company, I have willing to do that more then ever.

I can't imagine my life without music. Some of my favorite bands are Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, Five Finger Death Punch, OneRepublic, Adelitas Way, Lynyrd Skynyrd... I really love to sing and I dream of learning to play the guitar and recently I finally got it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In winter, I was in the mountains in the south of Poland, climbed a low peak (1602 meters). I got stuck on top for 40 minutes due to strong wind and came back alone at night without a flashlight through the forest .D
