About Me
Ciao! :)
I'm Maria. I've spend 21 years of my life looking for adventure, exploring the best spots and meeting the best people. And as you know when you catch a bug, you cannot stop anymore so... I'm looking for more. After all I know that nothing is impossible and nothing can stop you if you really, really want it, so I'm just trying to treat all my dreams as a plan. Right now I'm doing my bachelors degree on physics, but that shouldn't mislead you, as I'm keen on photography and film (especially those old ones). As you can see I'm an artistic soul and I would really like to work with stuff like this in the future.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After a lot of travels I know that the best thing which may happen to you when travelling is just meeting great buddies. Travelling without meeting new people is nothing.
That's why I'm in here. For me couchsurfing is a place for 'adventure hunters'. You cannot even compare staying in a hotel or at the camping to visiting somebody and seeing their everyday life in that place. That's also the only way to really 'feel' the country.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies. Movies. Movies. I love old classics, but you can find some masterpieces in the new cinematography. To many good shots to write the titles of them all. We can talk about it if you want to.
Music for sure post-rock, but every kind of rock and jazz is ok.
And when it comes to books, there is too little time to read all of them, but lately I fell in love with Jaume Cabre books. With a great pleasure I would hear some recommendation from you.
I'm also crazy about snowboarding and skateboarding. I discovered it pretty recently, so I'm not a master, keep learning, but I have so much fun with this stuff that it doesn't matter. Longboard and mini cruiser are my best friends forever.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are so many awesome things, which happened to me because of the people who I met. But if I were to chose one or two, probably it would be hitchhiking in Switzerland last summer and sliding down the rope from the bridge in Grand Canyon Du Verdon in France. I won't ever forget it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I want to share what you need. Doesn't matter if it's a place to stay, some food or time, recommendation what is the best spot or some abilities, which I can teach you.
I just want to listen to your stories and share mine, stay at your place and host you (when I am at home or when not, in totally different part of the world, where I'm actually staying), experience your life and your universe and show you mine. That's what we just call becoming friends.
