I'm a student in Moscow State University, faculty of mechanics and mathematics. I'm not a total geek but still can't imagine my life without maths.
I believe that i'm a cheerful person :)
I enjoy sharing stories and always open to find out or learn something new.
I like to meet new people and to spend time with my good friends but I also enjoy beeing alone sometimes. I'm always able to entertain myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, but i don't think that living in hotel and visiting main sightseeings is equal to really knowing the city. I prefer to communicate with local people, to watch their lifes, to be among them and try to feel myself as one of them. This is how you get to know the city.

Interests

I love travelling and all the things connected: packing, airports, railway stations etc :) unfortunately i don't do it a lot.
I also enjoy photography. I take pictures of sports events, different kinds of festive events for my friends and my university and during my journeys.
I adore singing, especially russian and cossack folk songs.
I participate in city orientation games a lot (in Moscow mainly). I also like solving puzzles and brainteasers.
I love speaking English, watching movies and TV series in English.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Irish folk, Russian folk, a little bit of punk-rock
Movies: i prefer film based on real events, but not documentaries. For example, "Empire of the sun" or "Flowers of war"
Books: the last book i fell in love with was "And quiet flows the Don" by Michail Sholokhov; i like books about wars or revolutions (don't really know why, but i do!) and like i said before - based on real events.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I participated in volunteer project "Great Baikal trail". Two weeks living in tents and building eco trails side by side with extremelly interesting people from all over Russia and USA! That was the best thing i've done in my life!
