Hi I'm Maria, a 22 year old student from germany. My major is Mediamanagement and since I'm studying in a small town I try to travel a lot. There's a challenge I set for myself where I want to visit one country a month, get to know at least one city and the people around there. Right now I'm also applying for a few semesters abroad for example in Iceland, Australia and New Zealand. While I travel I get to know a lot of lovely people.

I'm really outgoing, optimistic and can quickly adapt to new people and situations. Also I'm very easy going, open-minded and fun to be around. Communication is really important for me since I want you to be comfortable around me. So if you got any questions feel free to ask.

Especially getting in touch with locals is always really interesting because they got a whole different view of the city their living in than tourists. You could tell me so much more about the city and your favorite spots than any YouTube video.

I love making music myself or sing along to what's on the radio. Also I listen to all kinds of music from edm to rap, rock, hiphop or indie. For movies I really enjoy comedy or action movies. Even though I don't watch a lot of them.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I hit 20 I decided to drive to the UK to become an AuPair for 9 months. I lived with a lovely indian family and took care of three children. Since they lived in a small town it's been really good for me to come by car. I was flexible enough to go out and explore the area.
Another experience that definitely stood out was my first time hitchhiking. A friend and I hitchhiked from London to Amsterdam within 11 hours.

I could teach a bit of german or cook a few meals. Not saying I'm a 5 Star chef but I love cooking for myself and friends. If you want to go out I'm great at finding the most interesting places (coming down to personal interest of course) for the cheapest price. Even though I'm giving myself a hard time deciding what to from time to time because I can't do everything at once haha.
