I grew up on a farm and never really got out much, and I long to travel! Eventually I have a Backpacking Europe trip planned, once I have sufficient funds, car trouble is killing that though. I'm very shy, but willing to talk as long as someone else starts the conversation. I love history and geography, books are my life. I write a lot, and one day I hope to publish a book. I hope to make a name for myself in the culinary field, I love food, everything about food, from growing it to preparing and eating it.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to have new experiences, whether that be hosting or traveling, I want to see the world, meet new people, learn new things. Unfortunately, if done incorrectly that could make quite a dent in your bank account. Couchsurfing would let me see a city, not from the tourist perspective only, but from the local perspective. to see what a day in the life of such and such city is. Who knows, I might even base a character off of you :)

I'm a fan of all music, my pandora will shuffle from violin instrumentals to heavy rap, to Ray Charles to punk rock then back to opera.
Lord of the Rings is my all time favorite movie and book trilogy, although, theres never been a movie that I hated, try everything once, I always say.
I love any and all books. I own 667 and try to buy at least one new book a month. One day I hope to have a room just for my books, my own mini library.

The coolest thing I've done, is probably when I made my Super Mario Brothers Quilt (Still have to finish it though). I made the pattern my self and then cut out thousands of 2 in squares that I arranged to form the Mario characters. If you ask, I'll show you pictures :)

I can teach you how to sew, how to make my famous brownies, I can teach you how to make chain mail armor. I can show you basic garden skills so next season you can grow fresh fruits or veggies. I'm willing to learn anything crafty, I like knowing how to do things and having a wide skill set.
