I am a theoretical physicist/chemist, who loves to travel the world and meet new people. Due to the specifics of my job and research I often travel to Universities around the world, while I stay at these new places, I love to meet the locals and to make the most out of my time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet the locals at any place that I go to. From my experience, I really fall in love with cities and places when I can explore it with someone who knows it very well. I think that every place has a special energy and understanding it make me want to come back more and more.

Interests

I love science and scientific research takes up most of my time. I also love sport- in the winter mountain skiing and hiking in the summer, swimming and yoga are also a favourite. I love to cook mindfully and to enjoy local foods in anywhere I go. I also help my friends run a local recycling company in St.Petersburg called "99recycle". We recycle plastic by hand at try to raise awareness of the plastic pollution problem

I explore music every day and always find something new, I set myself mo limits so I like almost every kind of music
My fav books are probably "Idiot", "Martin Eden", "Lust for Live" and many others. I also enjoy to read biographies and historical literature.
I have many favourite films, I love the works of Kubrick, Lars von Trier,Yorgos Lanthimos, Sergio Leone, Pedro Almodovar and Christopher Nolan
