About Me

While I was born in France and raised up in Paris, my parents are Polish. So since I was little I was always aware that the world is full of different cultures and different ways of thinking. This is probably why I chose to study international relationships and to travel through the world!

While I visited most of European countries, I went also to Russia, India, Syria, Palestine, Kenya, the USA, Vietnam, Thailand, Palestine, Morocco, Tunisia, Cuba etc.
Few years ago, I backpacked solo 7 months in South America.

When I'm in Paris, I love to spend hours in café's having big conversations with my friends... I guess I could sum up saying that I am someone very curious about human being!

Besides that, I love foreign literature, music (I studied violin during 15 years), photography and writing.

In a previous life (though still doing it from time to time), I was a consultant for big companies (strategy, management, and all that subjects...).

I speak fluently French (obviously), Polish and English, my Spanish is not great but not awful either (al menos entiendo todo o casi todo), and I still have some old Russian remains.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to know countries through its people... I truly think it's the best way, if not the only one, to understand a country and its culture.

I am curious ans I like to broaden my horizons : I love to meet new people, even if it's just for a meal or a drink.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I reached Mount Sinaï in Egypt... which is not that crazy, but it was by night, in almost complete darkness, and I realized afterwards that I could have fall many times !

But I could add other weird things : the very first thing I did when I reached Machu Picchu was to fall asleep on a stone (I woke up very early that morning...), I faced a bull on a beach in the middle of the night in La Guajira (Colombia), I hold a Romanian flag in a Peruvian street, I was an extra in an Argentinian movie, I was the tail of a dragon on the official carnaval Sambodrom in Rio, I am probably one of the few people on this planet who got really bored on the Death Road in Bolivia (the weather was awful) and I did skydiving in Brazil feeling oddly absolutely no fear while jumping (this freaked me out).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking, I guess... And a good laugh I hope.
