I live in Chicago with my family. I like to cook, read, and be outside as much as possible. Currently, I am learning the German language and that takes up a lot of my free time. I am in the Toastmaster's International club, I write stories, and I love to work out. My family means the most to me and we are usually doing something around Chicago.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am happy to meet people and to practice the German language when possible. My husband and I traveled around the world for 10 months and the best times were spent with locals who knew the regions we were traveling in really well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Florence and the Machine, the Killers, Tim Bendzko, Bach, Cake, etc...I like to at least hear every song once before I decide.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just did the Polar Bear Plunge in Chicago to benefit the Special Olympics. It was so cold, but a great experience.
