I was born and brought up in the Highlands of Scotland, however now live in capital city of Edinburgh where i study community education and sociology at the University of Edinburgh. With this i hope to make drastic and positive impacts on underprivileged communities worldwide. In 2015/16 I lived in the third world country of Dominica, WI. for 13 months where i was a teaching assistant working with children of 2-14yo, in a medical university primary school. However, during my time there i had vast opportunities to take part in volunteer and community aid work which inspired me to further my knowledge in the field to enable me to fully understand the work and gain the skills needed to improve the lives of others.

My goal? Visit as many countries as possible, make new friends in each of those countries, and hopefully learn (at least) one new thing from each friend.

I love to meet new people and listen to stories of their lives, be it over a coffee or beer(s).

Being a student often means low funds for travel, so i am hoping that by offering my place to surfers, the same kindness will be shown to me some day in return. Plus, nothing really beats being shown cool little of the beaten path spots by a local!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

During my time in Dominica, myself and a few friends decided to take on the task of hiking from one end of the island to the other, over 9 volcanos, 22 mountain peaks and countless mosquitos (115 miles).

I have taken part in both Highland Dancing, and Judo from the ages of 4. So if you want to learn to Dance a Fling or throw someone flat on their back for Ippon, give me a shout!
