ABOUT ME

I love my country and the people around me - I like to feel compromised to them as well as open to other peoples, countries and lifes.

If you're looking to discover "the Spanish way of life" I won't be able to help you... And Barcelona is not the city for that. This is Catalonia (Catalonia is not Spain) and of course I will be delighted to tell you and welcome you into our Catalan way of life. Visca Catalunya lliure :)

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host every once in a while. I can't reply to all requests because living in Barcelona I get about 10/day. I live in a flat shared with 4 other people so I can't have too many surfers coming day in day out.

I surf other coaches specially in Prades de Conflent (northern Catalonia - South of France), where I attend the Catalan Summer University in August (A great experience!).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't like guests looking for perfect matches in interests as if this was a site for custom-made friendship. To me is precisely because we are not friends that we talk about hosting, which I find a very honourable act: greeting outsiders in your hometown, giving them accomodation and tips. Of course we can be friends after that. But it's not my only aim.

Interesses

I have studied Philosophy and I plan to keep doing that over a lifetime while living, sharing and working.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Well, I've lately been working and studying a master degree, and got through all of that at once! pretty amazing I think!!! As for the rest, what I enjoy the most are nice evenings in the best company of my friends or family, evenings where everything seems to be in its place and that you can miss for a lifetime ever after.
