We currently like to host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We started hosting in Nov'14 and are very much enjoying the experience, also managed to meet up with a local CS in Marrakech.

Interests

I have always liked to travel and meeting people, preferably from different nationalities! I love my job and spend a lot of time with my family. I volunteer at an ambulance service and teach first aid, in my free time I like to swim, scuba dive, bike, hike, read books, meet up with my friends or go to the cinema.

Music, Movies, and Books

We don't have a TV, refuse to pay for such a waste of time and our own brain-washing. We love to watch movies though and some series (often all we have time for in the evenings, an episode of Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones, for example). Not enough time to get through all the books I would like to read, currently -- all books by Mario Vargas Llosa. Not enough music in our lives, we like mostly English bands and international music, nothing techno or the like.

Teach: English and German; how to cook some Austrian and French dishes; first aid; anything you might want to know about viruses.

Learn: anything you are willing to share!

Share: my home, a warm meal, travel stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to cook and would be happy to prepare an Austrian/French/English/international meal together; if you like cheesy beef/pork sausages, chocolate or coffee I can bring with me a tasty souvenir from Vienna; advice on volunteering and backpacking in various countries.
