A friend once said "maria, you live your life on the verb go", and that' pretty much sums it up.
I need to constantly be visiting new places and meeting new people to feel "at home".

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Definitely for the fun of travelling and getting to know local people on a chilled out way, the same as hosting travelers when I am home, where ever that home may be!

Currently, developing a On the Road Documentary Project that will start in November. The goal is to take on the road with a van, a musician and a basic survival kit . We are gonna visit many cities in the USA in the quest for forgotten or undiscovered artistic talents that perform on the streets and in many cases also call the streets their only home. This is a personal quest as architect and traveler to unveil true creativity, human kindness and empathy while debating the current state of chronic homelessness and the crucial need for shelter in the USA . Jo Hell is the amazing guitar player and bluesman joining me on this quest, sharing his music and being the bridge in between my camera and the artists we meet! www.johellband.com
That being said we will be requesting couchsurfing time here and there throughout our journey. If you like our cause, we'll accept your couch!
