Hello :) I'm María, a 27 year old Spanish girl starting a new chapter in life.

I grew up in Castellón, studied Fine Arts, specialized illustration in Valencia and now I'm living in Barcelona for almost 4 years, loving this city and everything it offers. Since I arrived in BCN I've been workin as a textile illustrator in the fashion industry, but now I'm taking a big break from that world, starting with a few moths of traveling :)

I love art in all its forms. I'm always up to going to exhibitions, plays, live music places...! For the past 2 years, I've specially been a lot into dancing since I discovered Dancehall, though I've always connected a lot with contemporary dance too. Dancing is one of the ways in which I feel more connected to myself and my expression right now. I also love music, I enjoy singing and listening to other people's talent and passion with music.

I'm also a big animal lover, I'm in love with dogs and have one back home. I'm pescatarian, but I gladly adapt to vegetarian and vegan eating lifestyles.

I could say I'm a cheerful, creative and and open-minded person. I'm very open to meeting people, making new friends, discover and learn about the others, about the world and about myself through all those new exchanges.

Traveling is a great inspiration for me, I consider it one of the healthiest things for the mind to do in this life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find this project a beautiful and humble way to connect with people around the world with who to share time, experiences and learn a bit more genuinely about the place.

I'm new around here, but I've heard of some people's experiences in Couch surfing that always gave me a very good vibe :) So, I'm eager to get to know nice Coachsurfers along the way!
