My name is Maria.

I'm 24 years old, have spent quite some time in the US. I did a year abroad in Mississippi when I was 16, and I did an exchange semester at the University of South Carolina. Both of those experiences, paired with all the traveling I've done so far, have made me into the person I am today.

My passion, the thing I love the most, is: ENGLISH
German is my native language, but I have grown to LOVE the English language just as much if not even more.

I love traveling, to all kinds of places. Seeing new places, trying out new things, eating food that might not even look like food to me, sing songs that I don't understand, dance to rhythms that are new to my body...

I enjoy listening to all kinds of music, my CD-collection (yes I still buy those antique things) ranges from Beethoven, to Joss Stone, up to Pearl Jam, Janis Joplin, Lapsley, Matt Corby, Miles Davis, Damien Rice, Mighty Oaks, Xavier Rudd, Nirvana (this list could go on and on )

I love spending time in the nature, just because it is pretty amazing what planet earth has in store for us to discover.
