My name is María, an d I'm a Spanish "multitask" person: photographer, cultural manager, and sometimes also waitress. I'm always interested in learning new things and meet nice people to share with, discovering and enjoying experiences.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The first time I was traveling with couchsurfing was in Argentina in 2014, and was one of the best experiences I´ve had in my life. It was the way to know the south of the country sharing with great people, who with some of them I still have contact cause they became friends. I think is one of the best ways to understand traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience in couchsurfing was in Argentina, traveling around Patagonia, and in Portugal. At the moment I have hosted only twice, cause my conditions haven´t been appropriate in this time, but I would like to host again when it´s possible.

Música, películas y libros

I listen different kind of music, from rock to jazz, soul, funk, worldmusic,... So... Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Gustavo Cerati, Los Espítirus, The Strokes, Nina Simone, Dave Brubeck, Mulato Astatke, Cesárea Évora, Fatumata Diawara,...
Rayuela, Los autonautas de la cosmopista, Cronopios y famas, ... everything I´ve read of Cortázar (I am a cronopio, sure :-), El lobo estepario, Herman Hesse; A room of one´s own, Virginia Wolf.
Amanece que no es poco, from the Spanish Director Jose Luis Cuerda, Yorgos Lanthimos cinema (Canino, The Lobster,...), Goodbye Lenin, from Wolfgang Becker...
As you can see, I´m really bad in saying my favorite bla bla..., maybe because there is not, there are too many interesting things to choose one...

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can teach cooking the best Spanish omelette you have ever taste, and can also teach Spanish and photography.
Really would like to learn about the culture of the places I travel, in many ways: social, politics, art, gastronomy,... and if you can teach me how to sail, :-D
Really would like to share good talks and a bottle of wine (maybe two), and nature (sea or mountain are both welcoming)

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I think I am an easygoing person, and can offer not too much, but a nice experience sharing talks and laughing.
