I am a 32 year old American, but have lived most of my life abroad. I am currently living/working in Jordan now as a photojournalist/photographer with my world-travelling dog named Athena. I like to explore a country through its culture and people, observing and taking my time.

I lived with the Maasai tribe in Kenya for a while, I have seen and was almost swept over Victoria Falls in Zambia, I got stranded in Namibia and worked on a tomato farm to get enough to hitch north, I climbed a 1,000' sand dune in Namibia to watch the sun rise and witnessed a failed kidnapping attempt by Somali pirates on an island about 80 miles south of Somalia in the Indian Ocean...
