ABOUT ME

My name is Sinéad and I have just recently moved here from Ireland and i'm currently dedicating my time to finding a permanent place to live, working, learning Spanish, making new friends and discovering this beautiful & friendly city. I am temporarily living with a friend Barbara who is also a couch surfer, this is the link to her profile.

PHILOSOPHY

Since June 2013 I have stayed with over 30 hosts to date.

Hosting: Just commenced my hosting 'career' in Madrid in February 2014.

CS Meetings: I have attended some CS meetings while travelling. The best and most memorable meeting was the 2013 Couch Couch Fest in San Vito Lo Capo, Sicily. A weekend of camping, boating, swimming, sunbathing, drink and food!! You gotta check it out!! Organised by great people. It takes place in June every year.

fter staying with more than 30 hosts across 3 different countries I have now decided that it's time to choose a place to live for awhile, work, make new friends, learn the language and of course host!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

En unas vacaciones mi novio y yo fuimos a Marruecos,tuvimos que buscar el albergue que habíamos reservado.Nos perdimos ,nos pusimos a dar vueltas como locos, estábamos cansados de dar vueltas y de esquivar a los vendedores de las calles. En fin una locura tras otra de calles y gente y calles y mas gente. Me quede flipando de todo esto, aunque me gusto mucho vivirlo.

Intereses

I tend to lean toward being an introvert but there's an extrovert screaming to get out haha!! I've been told I am a good listener,easy going, polite and patient. I consider myself to be a bit naive sometimes, silly, a little clumsy and generally always see the good in people.

I am a vegetarian. This means I do not eat meat or fish but I DO eat diary products!!

I've just started hosting in Madrid February 2014, finally I get to repay back the kindness I received :)

CS has allowed me the opportunity to find 'hidden friends' across the continent...

- I go crazy if my day becomes too routine for too long. Love seeing new places, meeting new people anything that might put me out of my comfort zone... BUT there is a limit!haha

I enjoy nights out but the quiet nights in too!
