ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Maria, a travel addict who paused to have my babies and am now back on the wagon teaching them all I know.

I am originally from the UK and have spent time living in Copenhagen, Australia, Malta, and a few other haunts.

I love to travel to places and meet new people. I'm very social, easy going and energetic. I'm more than happy to entertain myself and am very independent but I also love hanging out with people and exploring places with a local.

My favourite thing in the world is to laugh. But I also love to cook, read, walk, listen to music, keep fit and generally anything to do with water.

Im a single mum traveling with my two excellent humans (Theo aged 1 and Maya 6)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have done lots of couchsurfing and love it! Im still good friends with lots of my lovely hosts and love everything about couhsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Australia, Paris, south east asia and the USA, I really enjoyed being immersed in local culture, meeting new people, sharing experiences and getting recommendations for what to do and see. I have always had amazing experiences couchsurfing and have met some brilliant people.

Intereses

I love doing anything new, meeting new people, learning new things, having heated discussions, hiking, swimming, reading, going to museums and art galleries, and most of all traveling.

I am most interested in other people, meeting new people and learning new things is my passion. I am interested in people, culture, what makes us human, growth, fun and living life.

Most of all I love to laugh and be happy.

Música, películas y libros

Im pretty open to everything and like learning about new music. Currently going through an Otis Redding and Lou Reed phase.

I love reading auto biographies and non fiction, also rubbishy airport crime novels are my favourite go to when i need an easy read.

I want to learn everything! There is so much to know and so little time :D

Id love to learn to surf, skateboard, speak different languages, cook. Anything! I want my children to experience to joys of the whole world.

I can teach about where I've been, about life in England, if you have a small business that needs a hand with marketing/sales I can offer that :). Performance psychology is my area of research, specifically confidence in women/neurodivergents.
