I love
A good conversation. When you get to the good stuff before you're even sure where the other person is from, that's magic.

Authenticity. Let's not live to perform in front of an invisible audience, but embrace every encounter with self awareness and honesty.

Food. Cooking it, eating it. Sharing it with someone. Trying to get you to appriciate weird Swedish stuff like caviar and licorice and open to try your equivalent!

Nature. Take me somewhere with a view where I can hear my lungs breathing and feel my muscles ache! Or let's lay on a deserted beach and do absolutely nothing.

By day I'm Dr Asp (MD psych).
My friends call me Dr Sandwich.
But mostly I like to be just Maria. Anxious but adventurous, curious and alive :)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

It's been nothing short of great since I started checking out events and meeting CSs when travelling, especially when travelling alone. Being an expat, CS is also the perfect forum to meet international people in my current city.

Interessen

I leaned how to swim crawl as an adult and have discovered I am in fact a fish.
Meditation and yoga is how I've learned to get out of my head turn on my body.
I play piano and violin, mostly for myself, but occasionally infornt of an audience.
Travelling for me is a way of finding myself.
