ABOUT ME

I'm an anthropologist by both education and soul. The one thing I'm really interested in are people. I love travelling and enjoy especially the hassle of it. And I definitely prefer sightseeing to sunbathing and local buses to private cars. I enjoy small things (wine, coffee and a chair in the sun), but always hope for the big.
I recently got interested in ethnographic film making.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted family and friends and friends of friends. Sometimes rather unexpectedly. I also used quite a few friendly couches.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a one-day-old child. And it was my own. :-) I had overpriced coffee in an Ethiopian hut at 3500m, instant noodles in the picturesque Romanian mountains and a spider in my Thai hotel room that was the size of a male's hand.

Those who know a lot, but don't treat you as an ignorant. I enjoy travel stories, but also listening to the various life-stories.
