I am a full time worker and a full time student. I am working toward a degree in wildlife conservation. With a busy schedule, I do always try to make time for trips and outdoor activities. After all, I can sleep when I'm dead!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After recently traveling the UK and Ireland, I realized there is so much more to adventure than your own experiences. Getting to share those experiences with others that you meet along the way is something spectacular. Whether I am hosting or being hosted, I believe interacting with others in your environment will make a positive impact on all involved. Couchsurfing allows you to do just that.

Interests

I love being outdoors! Hiking, fishing, camping, you name it I'll do it. I love exploring parks and enjoying the beauty of the scenery. That being said, I do enjoy a night in filled with good ole' Netflix and enough food to feed a small army. When I go out, wine or whiskey is probably involved (or when I stay in...let's be honest).

Music, Movies, and Books

Red Dirt music is the absolute best. Turnpike Troubadours, Stoney Larue, Randy Rogers Band, Cody Johnson, Whiskey Myers, and Josh Abbott Band are some of my favorites. You put me at a Red Dirt concert and I'm in my happy place.

I enjoy all sorts of movies and shows. Anything crime/action related is my preference. I absolutely love Game of Thrones, of course, Friday Night Lights, and Nashville. When I can, I watch shows on Discovery and Nat Geo that spark my interest.

I absolutely love reading National Geographic and Missouri Conservationist Magazines. Anything crime/mystery related keeps me entertained as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In high school, I took a trip to missions trip to Jamaica and it was an amazing experience. I helped build an elementary school building for a very rural town in 110 degree weather and taught and danced with the children. Even the simplest games like soccer or chasing bubbles blew their mind. It was very eye-opening and humbling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Company! With what little time I'll be at your house, I make great company. If you want to hang out, we'll hang out. If you want to be left alone, fine with me. I very much "go with the flow" and will always respect and abide by your boundaries and requirements.
