ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town in Wyoming surrounded by the mountains. I absolutely love where I'm from, but I love to explore. I was lucky enough to spend my sophomore year abroad in Granada, Spain. And I spent the last two years living and serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Togo, West Africa. I speak a decent amount of Spanish, although it's been replaced by the French I learned in Togo. I love to travel, I love the outdoors, and I love meeting new people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had my first couch surfing experience while travelling around Europe. I briefly opened my college house to surfers in Laramie, WY. Right now, I'm relocating to Nashville with my partner, and we're looking to Couchsurf while we house hunt. We then would love to open our own house to surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Poland for the first time and was lucky enough to have an incredible host. I also was greeted in Granada by a wonderful community of couchsurfers always willing to offer advice and support. I only had one surfer in Laramie, but it was a great experience.

兴趣

I love to do anything outdoors: hiking, climbing, backpacking, biking, running, snowboarding, skiing, ect. This most certainly does not mean I am great at all of these activities. In fact,the opposite may be true. However, I really enjoy being outdoors with friends.Other than the outdoors, traveling is my passion. I love to explore new places and meet new people.

Movies: anything funny. All time favorite is Easy A.

Music: a little bit of everything. I love it when people share new music with me. Some of my favorites are the Beatles, Milky Chance, and Valerie June.

Books: I don't read as much as I would like to, but I love it all. Travel memoirs are a favorite genre. Undress Me in the Temple of Heaven was an excellent read.

Climbing Fremont Peak in the Wind River Range. Absolutely beautiful, (as is every view in the Winds.)I have yet to take a trip into the Winds without being completely amazed.

I can teach you how to make a delicious veggie lasagna. And how to make a tiramisu for dessert! If you ever visit me in Wyoming in the winter, I could teach you the basics of snowboarding too.

I want to learn anything that you have to teach me. One thing I really want to learn more about is rockclimbing.
