ABOUT ME

My name is Maria, currently I'm a student, I study languages at university in Moscow.
I've been studying English for many years so apparently I can speak it, but I still make many mistakes.
Well, I can say I'm sincere, a bit indecisive and sentimental, modest as well, also, I'm curious. I'd love to meet new people, to know more about the world around, of course I know that it's easy to find out about other countries throug the Internet, but I'm sure you're able to know the world only when you communicate with other people.

Unfortunately I'm not travelling a lot. But still I'd be happy to chat or to meet with people, who come to my native country for watever reason or with people, who just bored and feel desire to hangout somewhere with new people =)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because it's one of the best platforms where people are connected by desire to travel and to meet new people. I'm one of them, and while I don't have much opportunity to travel, I'd love to meet with new people, who come to Russia, or russians who, just like me, want to meet new people.

Oh, I'm open for new experience as I know that there are so many things in this word that I don't know. And as far as I'm learning languages I have real interest in language exchange of course.

Music, Movies, and Books

I adore any kind of music, I listen to it really a lot! I listen to so many different artists that I don't reaaly want to pick out favorite ones here. It would take too much time.

As for movies... well it mostly comedies, cause I like positive emotions, also I like action movies, and I never watch horrors. Well, for example some of my favorite movies are "The Intouchables", "What Happens in Vegas", "The Grand Budapest Hotel" also films of Guy Ritchie=)

Finally, books, well, in this sphere I'm open to any kind of genres, artists etc. By the way, some of my favorite books are "The godfather", "Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy", and "Martin Eden".

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess this section is about what I can teach you and what I'd like to learn.
Obviously, I'd like to practice my English skills, and I can teach some russian words as it is my native language. Actually I don't mind to learn almost everything. =)
