My name is Maria Laura but I go by Mali. I'm currently living and working in Los Angeles as a costume designer.

When I was younger I did a lot of backpacking and used Couchsurfing all the time! I met a lot of amazing people and made some lifelong friends. It's always so exciting to get to know a new place through the eyes of someone local and learn about what makes this place special to them.
I love sharing stories and meeting new people, and Couchsurfing has always been a great community to do so :)

Interessi

I like hiking, swimming, and any kind of outdoor exploring including winter sports.
I also love watching films, going to the theatre, performance, and visual arts.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

- Worked on a remote mountain in Argentina in an Eco Village
- Survived a plane emergency landing in the Caribbean (and ended up having the best free holidays)
- Worked in a permaculture site in Florianopolis
- Worked in dangerous neighborhoods in Buenos Aires and Lima with children, giving free art and music lessons
