ABOUT ME

I was born in a small town in Southern Brazil, so small that nobody even in Brazil has ever heard of it. When I was 19 years old, i had enough of small town life and started University in Porto Allegre. During that time i worked in development aid in the Amazonian forest, which was quite an adventure for me, not only because of the work that was done there but also because most of the villages we cared for could only be reached by helicopter.
After University i decided to travel to Europe, and to visit my ancestors home country Germany. Originally i only intended to stay for a couple of months, but this visit turned into a permanent stay. I spontaneously decided to stay in Germany to become a Paediatrist and have lived here ever since. I now live in Bielefeld, a mid-sized and lush green city in Northern Germany, and although it rains 200 days per year i am very happy here with my two kids who currently follow in my footsteps and also study medicine.
I enjoy all kinds of cultural activities, movies, theaters and visiting cities, i like riding my bike in Bielefeld and i love travelling.
So far I have seen quite a lot of the world. I have been to most of Europe, and I love Spain and Italy with its small old villages, their culture, and their good weather. Ironically I have never been to Portugal, but i intend to change that very soon.
Of course i am still very attached to Brasil and visit my various relatives on a regular basis.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have heard of the couch surfing project of my children and their friends who have made very good experiences with CS.
I would like to participate in this more personal form of travelling and share the experience of meeting the locals in different countries.
Of course i offer my couch to anybody who would like to visit Bielefeld.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have seen and done many amazing things in my life.
To everyone who is going to Brasil i would recommend visiting the "Pantanal" an overwhelming reservation where you can see and watch a lot of Brasilian wild life.
Another amazing thing i have seen recently was a reef on a diving trip to Egypt.
