Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There is nothing funner and more exciting to me than traveling and seeing the world. Equally, I love meeting new people and learning about new cultures, histories, and foods. I believe my dream is to take Anthony Bourdain's job.

Staying in hotels usually does little to help you gain insight into the culture and people of a country. Meeting and interacting with locals on a close-up and personal basis really interests me. And, learning from them is even more gratifying. I am always open to trying new things.

I have several trips planned in June/July 2016 to SE Asia (Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, HK, Taiwan, etc.) and again in Feb/March 2017 to Bali/Ubud. Probably will take several more trips to Europe, South America, and the Middle East later this year or next.

All the James Bond films, all types of music (EDM, 80's, Pop, Rock, etc.). My music tastes are so varied (everything from opera to metal rock to hip-hop to EDM) that I can enjoy listening to literally any type of music. I enjoy reading non-fiction, mysteries, and about current events.
