Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed a lot. 4 times through Couchsurfing.org but many many times through other avenues (friends of friends, etc). I love it. It's so great to meet new people.

Interests

I love to feel good, so I put a lot of attention on my health. I meditate daily and do yoga. I love to read, to write, to hike, to travel, to learn about new things and places and to meet new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In April of 2010 I did the Annapurna Circuit trek in Nepal. The trek was amazing, but a moment that has stuck with me is when I entered a temple in Muktinath. It is the highest shiva temple in the world and I had gone to many temples in India and had not been so impressed in terms of how spiritual the temples made me feel (in other words I didn't have any amazing spiritual experiences). But in Muktinath, something came over me. There was something so pure there that I was overwhelmed to the point of tears. There are many pilgrims that go to that temple. It is very difficult to get to and everyone's intention is so pure.
