I'm a South African teacher and I've taken a year off to see a bit of the world! I live in a beautiful place called Cape Town where I can hike, surf and adventure with my amazing partner, Shaq and my wonderful family!
Shaq and I love experiencing new things together - we both love the ocean and surfing. I love reading and seeing the world though someone else's eyes.

Shaq and I are both easy-going and we like to 'go with the flow'. We don't like to plan our trips too much and enjoy the spontaneity traveling allows.

We heard about Couchsurfing from fellow couchsurfers. It offers such an incredible opportunity to meet like-minded people and experience different cultures firsthand! From experience we've found its usually about the people you meet, not the places you go! We are new to Couchsurfing but cannot wait to meet people and experience new things through this platform.
