Soy Argentina y me dedico a las relaciones internacionales, especialmente a la geopolítica por eso viajar es parte de pensar el mundo y mejorar mis percepciones tanto académicas y profesionales como de vida. Dicen que Argentina es el país del Fin del Mundo, ¿Qué mejor lugar para iniciar una vuelta a ese mundo? Eso si, siempre con un mate (infusión tradicional de argentina que si nos conocemos les compartiré) Creo que viaje mucho pero no lo suficiente, porque viajar es un estilo de vida. Me gusta el aire libre, y me apasiona el mar pero tambien las ciudades antiguas y sus historias, me gusta ir leyendo sobre los lugares que voy a visitar y sobre todo encontrarme con sus tradiciones locales y con las vivencias de quienes habitan, porque los lugares no existen si sus lugareños, sin la cultura y la cotidianeidad. También me encanta poder compartir todo eso de Argentina y hacer de guia turística improvisada, incluso en otros lugares, por ende si nos conocemos puedo contarte muchas cosas de mi país y de los lugares que recorrí incluyendo sus leyendas y tambien un montón de anécdotas (espero que divertidas)

I am Argentine and I am dedicated to international relations, especially geopolitics, so traveling is part of thinking about the world and improving my perceptions both academically and professionally as well as in life. They say that Argentina is the country of the End of the World, what better place to start a return to that world? That yes, always with a mate (traditional Argentine infusion that if we know each other I will share them) I think I travel a lot but not enough, because traveling is a lifestyle. I like the outdoors, and I am passionate about the sea, but also ancient cities and their stories. I like to read about the places I am going to visit and, above all, find out about their local traditions and the experiences of those who inhabit them, because the places they do not exist if their locals, without culture and daily life. I also love being able to share all that about Argentina and act as an impromptu tourist guide, even in other places, so if we know each other I can tell you many things about my country and the places I have visited, including its legends and also a lot of anecdotes (I hope how funny)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Amo viajar, siempre que puedo me escapo a algún lugar y trato de conocer lo mas posible y eso incluye a la personas, tambien cuando esas personas están viajando y pasan por tu barrio.

Sin embargo no conocía Couchsurfing hasta hace poco cuando decidimos con mi esposo iniciar una aventura, un viaje desde España hacia Asia pasando por África y quien sabe por donde mas. Con la posibilidad de trabajar de forma remota (virtual) nos aventuramos a esta travesía que esta empezando y de la cual esperamos salir transformados, volver a Argentina impregnados de paisajes y de experiencias diversas que solo pueden ser vividas de la mano de aquellos que son los protagonistas de esos lugares. Así que acá estamos y esperamos ser recibidos por muchos hogares generosos que prometemos retribuir de vuelta en nuestro país.

I love to travel, whenever I can I escape somewhere and try to get to know as much as possible and that includes people, also when those people are traveling and pass through your neighborhood.

However, I didn't know Couchsurfing until recently when we decided with my husband to start an adventure, a trip from Spain to Asia passing through Africa and who knows where else. With the possibility of working remotely (virtually), we venture into this journey that is just beginning and from which we hope to emerge transformed, to return to Argentina steeped in landscapes and diverse experiences that can only be experienced hand in hand with those who are the protagonists of those places. So here we are and we hope to be received by many generous homes that we promise to give back to our country.

Música, películas y libros

Me gusta mucho el indie folk y el indie en general, tambien la música celta o similares, y sobre todo el rock nacional argentino. Bandas Favoritas: divididos, los Redondos y Soda Stero. Pero internacionalmente ahora estoy escuchando mucho a un grupo estadounidense llamado The Lumminiers, lo recomiendo y recomiendo las producciones de Tiny Desck

Películas: me gustan mucho las películas de drama histórico, dos favoritas: "Brooklyn" y "La sociedad del Pastel de cascara de papa de Guernsey" pero si hablamos de las mejores les recomendaría "el padrino" tambien soy fan de StarWars y me fascinan las películas que tratan el tema del tiempo como las de C. Nolan

Libros..., es imposible decidirse, diría que últimamente mis favoritos son los de Almudena Grandes la autora española de "El Corazón Helado" que le compite a Isabel allende, autora chilena de varias obras maravillosas entre ellas "La Casa de los Espíritus" pero tambien tengo que sumar "100 años de soledad" de Gabriel García Márquez y la saga de los confines de la argentina Liliana Bodoc. Aunque tambien debo confesar que me lei tres veces "El señor de los anillos" de JRR Tolkien y que soy de los que están esperando que George Martín termine de escribir Canción de Hielo y Fuego ,

I really like indie folk and indie in general, also Celtic music or similar, and especially Argentine national rock. Favorite Bands: Divididos, the Redondos and Soda Stero. But internationally now I'm listening a lot to an American group called The Lumminiers, I recommend it and I recommend Tiny Desck's productions

Movies: I really like historical drama movies, two favorites: "Brooklyn" and "Guernsey Potato Peel Pie Society" but if we talk about the best ones I would recommend "The Godfather" I'm also a fan of StarWars and they fascinate me films that deal with the theme of time such as those of C. Nolan

Books..., it is impossible to decide, I would say that lately my favorites are those of Almudena Grandes, the Spanish author of "the frozen heart" who competes with Isabel Allende, Chilean author of several wonderful works including "The House of the Spirits" but I also have to add "100 years of solitude" by Gabriel García Márquez and the saga of the confines of Argentina's Liliana Bodoc. Although I must also confess that I read "The Lord of the Rings" by JRR Tolkien three times and that I am one of those who are waiting for George Martin to finish writing A Song of Ice and Fire,
