About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm interested in people - what makes them tick, what sways their soul, how they see life. I am a fan of tolerance and open communication. I also love food, am a great cook, and you can count on this if you host me :)
If you hike and let me know your favorite route, I will probably be doing that too!
I like alternative lifestyles and am curious to know how people around the world structure their values and goals in life.
I don't like gender roles, I am here to question all kinds of socialization. Please bear this in mind!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For me, the best trips are the ones where I get to live the life of the locals. No on-the-book-touristing for me - except for the occasional museum.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had one really good experience in Zanzibar. But that's it so far. (Rhyme unintentional)
Interests
I love traveling, but that's obvious. Apart from that, I love learning new language and reading.
Saying I am interested in food is an understatement. I am a taste-enthusiast. I know no boundaries when searching for the softest Hummus. For the crispiest fries. For the most intensive cheeses. For the finest salami. For the best looking Bruschetta. The absurdest of pizzas. The most delicate, softest pierogies. I also measure no effort when it comes to preparing good food. I can make mean pancakes. To die for gnocchis. The creamiest risotto. And this is real feedback from friends I cook for.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hate to brag. But:
I have learned German fluently in two years. No shit, I speak it like a pro. Those who know the struggle will understand!
I have also lived in nine countries. Maybe that means something. Maybe it doesn't.
Countries I’ve Lived In
Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Uganda, United States
