About Me

Hi there!
I'm just a brazilian girl with a thrist for travelling, for learning new languages (at the moment i'm learning French, but in the line there's Spanish, Italian, Sign Language, Estonian and Arabic) , and a real enthusiastic of discovering new cultures! So, if you're a foreigner with these characteristics in common with me, the chances of us becoming friends or at least getting along well are huge! So, why not, become guest and host in this amazing platform, huh?
So, I'm always searching for different countries to explore and to get to know the local culture, giving priority to small villages and not the capitals in the first place (event though they have so much to add in terms of enterteinment and culture as well!). I'm really interested in getting in touch with local people, with different accents, with typical food and the entire history of the places i'm visiting! I'm also constantly looking for different Universities where i can do a post-graduations programs to increase my graduation in Brazil, which is going pretty well so far!
Besides that, i can say that i'm a very sociable person, more reservated and i love making new friends!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm at the couchsurfing because i want to live an experience similar with an exchange program that allows me to get in touch with local people who share this same interest of dividing experiences and get to know different people and different cultures, turning a "simple" travel experience into a bigger event for everyone involved in the process (both host(s) and guest(s)).

I guess when you can exchange experiences, stories, moments with your host, the best room in a 5 star hotel gets boring, because you'll cook your food with local ingredients with the support of your host, you get tips that any travel guide wouldn't be able to offer, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I've entered in a car with 3 friends without knowing where to go (no, we weren't drunk at all, we were just looking for an adventure in a weekend that we were gonna spend together) and we ended up getting into a archeological park of our State. We had lunch inside the park, we saw waterfalls, dinossaurs fossils and a we've had a funny and random buggy ride!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can always teach someone how to play basketball, because i've played it for 8 years now and i'm in love with it! Besides, i can teach portuguese and english, and just the basics of french because at the moment i'm still learning it and i'm quite passionate about latin languages, such as my mother language: the portuguese! Also, any dialogues involving philosophy, psychology, sociology, sciences of the nature and arts in general with a nice cup of tea of red wine pleases me a lot and it's actually a mutual learning process.
I'm always open to learn new languages, new recipes, new sports!

What I Can Share with Hosts

As i said before, i can always share with my hosts a litte bit of my culture from Brazil which is very very veeeery rich, of my story and of my good will of cooperating, of learning and of meeting new people!
