My name is Mariana but everybody calls me Mary. I'm from Portugal
and I have 30 years old.
So I'm Mary a simple being.
In the past 4 years a lot of places I've seen, a lot of people come across on my path and of this help me develop as human being. I am happy and I feel blessed for all that I have in my life. I'm in a journey to understand myself and this world. I'm not perfect and I'm not better of any one but I always try my best in everything that I do.
I love to travel, this give me a strong feeling of freedom, meeting new people, different cultures and costumes, hear their stories, learn with them always make me feel that we are all connected.
In the past 4 years I've been travelling around Europe and Africa and have been one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
I'll start a beautiful journey next year in South of America, but for now I just want to enjoy what Europe can offer me.
I am a calm and relax person, I always try to see the best in all the situations even when doesn't go in the way that I wanted. I like to learn & share new things. I love to cook and I am Vegan!!!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I never did couchsurfing however I received a lot of people in my parents house in Portugal and it is a rich experience for me and also for others ( at least I always try to give a good experience and the wish to come back again). I believe we are here to learn with each other and if we are open to received what the universe have for us, couchsurfing can be a beautiful experience.
I think Couchsurfing is a good opportunity to meet new people and new places.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've been in Africa doing volunteer work in pre-schools and Care homes. That experience definitely opened my heart, my creative horizons have expanded and those experiences ensured me about what I really want to do for the rest of my life. The passion I feel while working with people TRANSCEND everything that I had experienced until today. For me the experience in Africa was more intensive because I was totally out of my comfort zone, living in a very different economic & social conditions and cultural environmental, totally new and unknown for me.
The fact that I contributed to improve the life of those children with chocolate color, sweet and warm smile, given them a better future tomorrow, it was something I did with love and dedication because I realized that it is entirely possible.
