Hello, world!

I'm Mariana with almost 27 laps to the sun! I'm a happy, relaxed, calm, and kind of nerdy person, I don´t open myself up at the first moment but when I get confident oh boy! I talk even through my elbows as it's said in Mexico, also I'm a super curious person always wanting to know everything that's why I ask many questions about people's culture, history, geography, etc.

Traveling along with my boyfriend Alex he describes himself as a citizen of the world, he lived in New Zealand for a year traveling in a Van around the island, has visited 48 countries and this is his second time traveling south Asia. He is the organizer in our relationship, and always has something funny to say!

both of us would rather eat in a place in the middle of the street than go to a tourist restaurant rated on google.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I'm a little girl I suffer anxiety about death, it's something that terrifies me a lot and makes me sick, just the thought that someday our lives will reach an end could keep me up all night; This thought made me want to travel the world to search for new experiences, new friends, new cultures that I could keep in my memories that it is the only thing I'm sure will be with me to eternity.

So I grab my backpack, my computer, and my boyfriend and began our journey around the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not such a fan of movies or series but here are my favorites "Como agua para chocolate" and "Sherk".
I'm a reader and if something catches my attention I will read it to the end in one day or two! Thriller and romantic are my favorite gender literature. "Pride and Prejudice", "Nuestra parte de noche" and "The truth about harry Quebert" as favorite books.

Alex instead is a cinema enthusiast going from Tarantino to Guy Ritchie and Luis Estrada movies. Also has traveled more than me and has some tips and tricks that he would like to share!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Alex lived in a tent for 3 months in Canada working as a fruit picker, the same in NZ but in a Van.
