ABOUT ME

I'm a 30-something (for the next couple of years anyway) nonprofit worker and part time graduate student seeking a Masters in Gerontology. Between work, school, and my 80lb dog I don't have a ton of free time. When I do get to get away I like to experience new things, take in different cultures, meet people, and EAT.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS because I would like to get to interact with real people in real places rather than having stuffy travel experiences and not really getting to chat with anyone from the place that I am visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a really hard time picking favorites...

Current favorite book- anything that isn't assigned for school.
Favorite movie- I don't know what it is about La Bamba but I weep so hard EVERYTIME I watch it. I don't know if I would call it my favorite but it causes more of a response out of me than any other movie.
Favorite music- I listen to a lot of hip-hop, salsa, reggaeton, BUT mostly these days I end up listening to podcasts over music a lot of the time.
