I am passionate about the history and culture of every place I visit. But I can't stand staying in one place for a long time so it's not too long until I start getting restless and find a new country/city to visit.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I am naturally drawn towards Couchsurfing where the people I'm staying with can give me a unique perspective of the city I'm in (if they like!) Although it sounds incredibly cliché, I'm hoping I'll be able to make new friends from every country I visit-friends with different backgrounds and cultures, different perspectives on life, from which I can learn.

Centres d'intérêt

I am a ravenous lover of food and this always plays a part in my travels so I will rely on locals telling me where to go. But I also have an appreciation of art which will lead me to wearing out all my shoes trying to find the best galleries and street art.
So if anyone can help me with these two (even if you're not able to host me) I'll be eternally grateful!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

There's no chance I'll be able to list all my favourites but I'll give you a taste...

Music: anything from catchy pop (what better music to dance to when drunk), to classical Indian, rock and grunge, and back to soulful blues.

Movies: I'm not a massive fan of films (I prefer TV series I can binge-watch), but one of my favourites has to be Being John Malkovich and Volver.

Books: Grapes of Wrath, The Divine Comedy, Odyssey and The Illiad are a few of my favourites but I also appreciate any political commentaries on historical and current events.
