I am passionate about enjoying life. I love traveling around the world and meeting new people. I enjoy art in all its forms: paint, music, theater, dance, movies. I also enjoy nature, sports and animals. I practice law and enjoy creative writing. I practice dragonboating.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel. That "gusto" was inherited from my parents. My mother still is a world traveler and host people from different countries, who are friend of friends and have become her friend. I am opening up to the possibility of becoming a host myself and be hosted when doing my traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting involved in Dragon Boating and competing twice in the World Championships as part of the Senior Women Team. In 2013 we raced in Hungary and won bronze in the 200 m and 500 m races. In August 2015, we raced in Welland, Canada and won silver in the 2k and 200 m races and bronze in the 500 m race. I just participated in the Panamerican Club Crew Championships which were hosted in Cerrillo, Puerto Rico.

I can teach my host or guests some dancing steps in salsa or merengue; a few words in Spanish and share some typical puertorrican food.
